The legislative Affairs Office under the State Council has announced the recommended amendment of the Customs Protection of IPR Regulations and its explanatory notes to the public for opinions, which shall be submitted before December 25, 2009.
The revision covers six aspects, which including in altering and canceling the recordation of IPR, the counter-guaranty, withdrawal of the protection application, auction out the domestic and import and export infringing goods.

中国公开征求《知识产权海关保护条例》修改意见
本报讯  12月10日，中国国务院法制办将海关总署报送国务院审议的《国务院关于修改〈中华人民共和国知识产权海关保护条例〉的决定（送审稿）》及其说明全文公布，公开征求社会各界意见，有关单位和各界人士可以在2009年12月25日前向国务院法制办提出修改意见。
国务院法制办公开的征求意见稿对现行《知识产权海关保护条例》在6个方面进行了修改，包括：变更、注销知识产权备案、反担保、权利人撤回保护申请、拍卖侵权货物、进出口侵权货物物品的法律责任等规定。
